Our band members are all top-notch, professional working musicians that have performed with acts like: The Temptations, The Stylistics, Heatwave, Peaches & Herb, The Manhattans, Barry Manilow, The Main Ingredient and many others. We have performed on many stages throughout the US and Europe, on board Cruise Ships and even The White House!
How It Started
From Friends To One Of The Southeast's Favorite Party Bands
The Uptown Party Band was born in 2010 at a backyard barbecue. What started as 4 friends jamming through a borrowed PA system quickly became the most talked-about party in the neighborhood — and by the end of that summer, UTP had its first paying gig.
Fifteen years and over 300 shows later, we’ve grown into a tight five-piece unit that lives by one simple rule: if the crowd isn’t dancing, we’re not done yet. We’ve played weddings, corporate galas, summer festivals, and late-night club sets — and every single show gets the same full-throttle treatment.
Our sound is a celebration of everything that makes live music great: soul, funk, pop, rock, and R&B woven together into a setlist that reads the room and keeps the energy climbing all night long.
